The Andromaco Palace Hotel in Taormina is a hidden gem in a quiet residential area of the town. The value for money is exceptional, with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel, from the friendly staff to the basic amenities provided. The rooms are clean and spacious, with balconies offering breathtaking views of the coast.
All was great, nothing to complain about.

The hotel staff provided excellent customer service. They did everything possible to make our stay comfortable, which included changing our room for one with with a sea view (as originally requested when booked), providing information on local attractions and helping us to exit the car park when we were blocked in by other cars. The hotel also has great views over the sea and is in a quiet neighbourhood while only a ten minute walk from the centre of Taormina.
The buffet offering at breakfast could be improved with fresh fruit juice, more fresh fruit and a greater selection of cereals.

The hotel room including the bathroom was always clean. The staff was friendly. The pool was really nice.
The breakfast was pretty poor. There was no cheese, only one cold meat (ordinary ham), coffee wasn't part of the buffet (it had to be ordered), no pastries. The breakfast could definitely be improved. The location of the hotel is about 10/15 minutes away from the center of Taormina on foot. However, the walk can be tiring for unfit people as there are many steep hills to get there. The air-conditioning was tricky to operate. And there was no hot water in the shower. The staff could barely speak any English. We also got a cockroach and mosquitoes in the room since there was no door net leading onto the terrace. I would only recommend this hotel as a last resort.

Stayed one night to explore Taormina. Lovely accommodation with a pool. Friendly staff and good service. Nice view from the pool area. Breakfast was generous with plenty of choices. Free parking available. Perfect location, a 10 min. walk to the historic center. Easy drive to Mount Etna.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The staff during the day - Laura were friendly and spoke excellent English. Free transfer from bus station was good.
This was once a beautiful hotel, and the setting is fair. Now it is run down, with poor and breaking down air conditioning and hot water. No English speaking staff after 6 pm which made it difficult to sort out problems. Wi-fi signal poor and although Laura on reception offered use of internet to print my boarding pass, the connection was very poor. Also, mobile phone signal very poor. A once grand hotel that needs renovation. Breakfast was parsimonious and poor, and no fridge in the rooms, standard for most 3 star hotels and 2 star B + Bs. I would not recommend this hotel.

Lovely family-run hotel with great location, accommodating early check-in, helpful owners, convenient transportation options, nice pool, comfortable beds.
Can't think of anything.

The breakfast was very spare, the linens were as rough as sandpaper, and there was a frequent smell of cigarette smoke. In addition, the address on your web site was not correct and it made the hotel quite difficult to find with a GPS.

The staff were excellent- very accommodating. Good standard of English. We were given a sea view even though we hadn't paid extra for it, simply just to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible. It was a real family affair. The day of our arrival we were allowed use of the pool, just for a dip, even though it was closed quite late in the evening. Every effort was made to accommodate us.The receptionnist even brought us in her own car to the bus terminal on our last day. Breakfast was fantastic- the usual: bread, cold meats, cheese, fruit, yogurt, cereal, buscuits and crackers, Freshly Squeezed orange juice, and delicious Italian coffee. However the food was plentiful and great quality. Furthermore the lady in charge of breakfast was fantastic- ensuring that each guest had enough of everything! Very very friendly! The room was traditional Sicilian with all modern facilities- impeccably clean and indeed clean everyday of our stay. We got a good deal with a trip to the beach for €5 (perhaps €6 in high season) - we were collected in the morning and got 2 deck chairs and a parasol on the beach and return lift home. This was great value altogether and could be easily organised at reception. The one drawback for this hotel is perhaps it location, being ten minute walk from the Corsa Umberto (main street) but for any energetic couple this is no obstacle. In fact Andromaco is located among residential properties and is therefore very quiet and has a homely feel. It was good to be that bit outside of the hustle and bustle of the town. I would highly recommend Andromaco without reservation!

We loved the hotel's location within walking distance of the city center and fine sea views from the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with transportation and excursion arrangements. This residential area offered a glimpse of authentic local life, and the hotel facilities weresuper clean and cozy.
Nothing it was perfect.

Nice pool (if a bit deep for the kids). Great service from the pool bar. Lovely view from the balcony. About 15 minute walk to centre of town.
Pool deep for young children. Parking tight but it wasn't a problem for us.

Room size and breakfast offer were great. Good location near the town and with great views from the pool area.
The hotel was quite outdated and felt a little fusty. The room we stayed in was a little too dark and the air conditioning didn't work very well, which resulted in damp clothes.

Nice view, clean rooms, very friendly hotel staff. Near to the city centre.
We found it difficult to drive to the hotel by car due to the steep and tiny streets. Be prepared to use public parking facilities ( 13€ per day) at the entrance of Taormina.
